Backcountry Fishing
Come experience the legendary backcountry fishing in Islamorada! Our backcountry trips usually have us entering the iconic everglades national park. I cover everything from the famous flamingo area out to the gulf.
With over 30 years of experience in Backcountry fishing, I am well versed in the various channels, holes, flats, and mangrove islands we will be fishing. You’ll be targeting popular Floridian catches like Redfish, Permit, Tarpon, Blacktip Shark, Mangrove Snapper, Mutton Snapper, Goliath Grouper, Speckled Trout, Snook, Bull Shark, Yellowtail, and Pompano. I offer special trips for military veterans, so be sure to reach out for more details.
Your trip includes all premium fishing gear and a fishing license, so all you need to bring is a positive attitude and your sunglasses. Join me for a day of incredible fishing memories!

Where We Fish
I will customize the trip to your group’s goals. How far we go will all depend on the weather, your group’s goals for the day, and where the fish are biting. We can run trips a few miles away all the way to 25-30 minutes away, I’m not afraid to burn some gas if you want to get after it!
