Tarpon Fishing
Islamorada tarpon fishing is legendary! They are the king of sportfish, and demand patience for success. I typically recommend at least a ¾ day to figure out the bite and where they are active. We fish for them in the various bridges, channels, and flats in the backcountry. We typically are fishing live or dead bait, but will sometimes mix in artificials as well. We can catch them anywhere in florida bay at the end of march through august, we follow the tarpon migration. April, May, June, July are the peak!
