Snook

Snook fishing in Islamorada offers an exciting challenge, with anglers targeting these elusive fish in the waters around Florida Bay and the Everglades. Targeted during our backcountry trips, snook can be found near mangroves, bridges, and deep channels.

Redfish

Targeting Redfish in Islamorada is very popular, with these delicious and hard-fighting fish often found in the shallow flats and mangroves. Anglers can enjoy sight fishing for redfish, casting towards schools in clear, calm waters where they are known to hunt for baitfish near mangroves, sandbars, and oyster beds.

Tarpon

Tarpon fishing in Islamorada is a thrilling adventure, as the silver king is renowned for its powerful jumps and challenging fight. Found in the warm waters of Florida Bay, anglers often target tarpon around bridges, deep channels, and the local coastlines, especially during their spring and summer migration.

Seatrout

Seatrout fishing in Islamorada offers a relaxed yet rewarding experience, with these abundant fish commonly found in the grassy flats and shallow estuaries of the Florida Keys. Known for their tasty meat and strong fight, seatrout are often targeted using live bait or artificial lures in the clear, calm waters around the islands.

Sharks

Shark fishing in Islamorada is a thrilling experience offering abundant opportunities to target various species like bull sharks, lemons, and blacktips. We can target them pretty much anywhere and use heavy tackle and bait to land these powerful predators that put up an intense fight.

Cobia

Cobia fishing can be amazing in Islamorada when they are around. Typically found around reefs, wrecks, and buoys, cobia are known for their aggressive strikes and provide a rewarding challenge for both novice and experienced fishermen.

Permit

Permit fishing in the Gulf is a very unique and rewarding experience, these hard fighting fish usually hang around reefs and wrecks in Florida Bay and can put up a heck of a fight. We can get some real trophy permit around Islamorada.

Goliath Grouper

Goliath grouper fishing in Islamorada offers an unforgettable challenge, as these massive, powerful fish can weigh up to 800 pounds and put up a fierce fight. Found around holes in flats, wrecks, reefs, and bridges, we target these giants using very heavy tackle.

Mangrove Snapper

Mangrove snapper are a very popular fish to catch and eat in Islamorada, with these tasty fish often found in the shallow waters around mangrove-lined islands and structures like wrecks and reefs. We can catch Mangrove Snapper pretty much anywhere around Islamorada.

Yellowtail Snapper

Yellowtail Snapper are a favorite fish to eat for many guests, known for their delicious, mild flavor and flaky texture. They are very abundant around the waters of Islamorada. We typically catch them on our reef trips when fishing the Atlantic side.
